We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2024, at the age of 86, Robert E. Adams of Fairbanks, Indiana, born in Sullivan, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Clay and Bonnie Naomi Adams (Pound); his wife Sue Strain Adams; his sisters, Sharon Wentz and Connie Adams; and his brother-in-law Larry Zaayer.
He is survived by: his children, Darin Adams (Penny), Michael Adams (Missy), Jamie Adams (Martha), Lisa Perry (Mark), Lori Stone and Amy Mansfield (Paul); his grandchildren, Dustin Adams (Olivia), Lauren Kean (Joey), Heather Robbins, Brandon Robbins, Travis Robbins (Craig), Justin Stone, Megan Stone, Cody Adams (Maria), Cale Adams (Aubrey), Anna Morrison (Will), Sean Morrison and Jacob Adams; his great grandchildren, Jayce Jimenez (Mackenzie), Emmy Adams, Lydia Adams, Logan Kean, Luke Kean and Myla Adams; his great great grandchild Adeline Jimenez; his stepgrandchildren, Brooke Mullins (Jason), Dustin Perry (Alaina), Josh Mansfield (Chelsea) and Emily Townsend (David); his sister Mary Ann Ferguson (Jay); and his brother-in-law Lee Wentz. He is also survived by several step great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
