She was predeceased by: her father Willie Owen Grooms; her husband Larry Gordon; her son Robert Boyd, Jr.; her mother Lucy Francis Grooms; her sister Edna Gardner; and her grandson Lamont Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Boyd (Kym), LaVonda Boyd, Lisa Davis (Michael) and Curt Gardner (Tiera); her sister Eleanor Hale; and her grandchildren, LeErrica Truitt, Ambria Barnes, Eunique Boyd, Robert Boyd III, Demario Boyd, Rom'l Harrison, Roman Harrison, Mykal Davis and Maleek Davis. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel (800 S Hebron Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1400 E Virginia St, Evansville, IN 47711). A repast will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lakeside Manor Clubhouse (3201 S Green River Rd, Evansville, IN 47715).
