He was predeceased by: his parents, Geather Crayner and Mabel Crayner (Ladd); his wife Florence Crayner (Blume); and his sister Barbara Effinger. He is survived by: his children, Judith Halstead, Janet Gilles (Eric), Jennifer Sozio (Michael), David Crayner (Libby) and Thomas Crayner (Siew); his brother Randall Crayner (Sharon); his grandchildren, David, Angela Halstead, Alexander, Matthew, Andrew Gilles, Christopher Sozio, Caitlyn Salaman, Cassidy Sozio, Zita Holland, William, Benjamin, Stephen Crayner and Grace Crayner; and his great grandchildren, John, Curtis, George Holland, David "Chip", Joan, Daniel Crayner, Amanda, Michael Crayner, Henry, Thomas Crayner, Harper Gilles and Wesley Willet.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (5528 Hogue Rd, Evansville, IN 47712).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 610 E. Walnut Street, Evansville, IN 47713 or to the Evansville Rescue Mission, 500 E. Walnut Street, Evansville, IN 47713.
