Virgil A. Jennings Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2025, at the age of 83, Virgil A. Jennings of Evansville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Virgil had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Virgil may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cordis Jennings and Clara Jennings (Schulz); and his siblings, Mary Jennings Helton and Raymond Jennings. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Jennings (Phelps); and his children, Deanna Rhoades (Mark), Dawn Goodpasture (Mark), Dwayne Jennings (Deanna) and Darrin Jennings (Kim). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sweetwater Event Center (8335 Eagle Lake Dr, Evansville, IN 47715).
