Verda E. Cariens Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Verda E. Cariens of Evansville, Indiana, born in Island, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2024 at the age of 98. As Verda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Verda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Verda leaves behind.
She is survived by: her son Gene Sanford (Judy); her grandchildren, Michael Gene Sanford and Melaney Rivera; and her great grandchildren, Madelyn Rivera and Jaden Rivera.
