She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Marvin Eugene Hartig and Patricia Ann Hartig; and her brother David Eugene Hartig. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Eugene Summers; her stepdaughter Kenya Renee Summers; and her mother-in-law Callie Wells. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (609 SE 2nd St, Evansville, IN 47713). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
