He is survived by: his children, Dave Castrale (Debby) of Evansville, IN, John Castrale (Andrea) of Mitchell, IN, Joe Castrale (Pam) of Sarasota, FL, Susan Heathcott of Evansville, IN, Mary Patterson of Evansville, IN and Jane Castrale of Evansville, IN; his grandchildren, Nicole Boyes, Elizabeth Johnson, Joe, Brian Heathcott, Jessica Barnard, Abby, Joshua Patterson, Amanda Blackburn, Taylor Uhde, Laura Grochowina and Paul Castrale; his great grandchildren, Hazel, Spencer, Lucas, Gunner, Grace, Annie, Abraham, Amelia, Charlotte, Katelyn, Kenlee, Joanna, Stella, Henry, Graham, Claire, Mia, Max and Kieran; his brother Remo Castrale; his nephew Mike Castrale; his niece Sara Beth LePere; his parents-in-law, Henry and Bertha Schenetzke; his brother Bob; and his sister-in-law Gale.
