Shirley Monroe Kerchief Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2025, at the age of 97, Shirley Monroe Kerchief of Evansville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard M. Kerchief and Margaret Pearl Kerchief (Caldwell); his sons, Brian Kerchief and Keith Kerchief; his siblings, Evelyn Louise Smith and Raymond Dale Kerchief; and the mother of his children Dorothy Louise Kerchief (Scherer).
He is survived by: his children, Kristie Franklin (Ken) of Evansville, IN, Shirley Blankenship (Darrell) of Evansville, IN, Mark Kerchief of Evansville, IN, Julie Cates of Evansville, IN, Danny Kerchief (Kathy) of Wadesville, IN, Gregory Kerchief (Tammy) of Evansville, IN and Paul Kerchief (Amy) of Evansville, IN. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Browning Funeral Home (738 E Diamond Ave, Evansville, IN 47711). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
