It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A Floyd of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on September 25, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Harp and Mae Harp (Meece); her husband J. R. Floyd, Jr.; and her siblings, Charles, James, Mary Katherine, Harry, Betty, Francis, John, Rosalee, Martha and Ronnie.
She is survived by: her children, John Hunsaker Jr., Anna Lowe, Douglas Hunsaker Sr., Jerry Hunsaker, Robert Cawhorn and Ronald Nurrenbern; her grandchildren, Lisa, Debra, John III, Tamara, Ray Anne, James, Jeramie, Kristina, Douglas Jr. and Brianna; her great grandchildren, Devon, Ethan, Madison, Wesson, Alyssa of Heaven, J. J., Xavier, Jamieson, Bentley, Summer, Dalton, Tyler, Mia, Maci, Raven, John Popp Jr., Dillon, Montquale, Aireon, Lillie, Trinity, John IV, Nautica, Neveaha, Travis and Quinten; and her sister Carolyn Robb.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Alexander West Chapel (2100 W Illinois St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
