He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Shirley, Jean Holder, Joseph, Judith Bitter and Gene Dillman.

He is survived by: his parents, Douglas "Mark" Bitter (Tonya) and Connie Powless (Holder); his brother Tyler Powless (Vanessa); his nephew Miller Creed Powless; and his grandmothers, Phyllis Dillman and Peggy Powless.
