She was predeceased by: her daughter Loretta Lynn Joines; her parents, Sarah Taylor (Parson) and William Otto Burns; and her siblings, Flora Bell, Don Smith and Larry Burns.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Thompson of Evansville, IN and Faye Henderson (Andy) of Evansville, IN; her siblings, Clara Montgomery (Truman) of Chucky, TN, William Burns of Evansville, IN, Harold Burns of Evansville, IN, Frank Smith of Evansville, IN, Bobby Burns (Ruth Ann) of Evansville, IN, Fred Burns (Kay) of Mt. Vernon, IN and Jimmy Burns (Ginny) of Evansville, IN; her grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron (Sheila), Jacob (Hannah), Austin (Bre), Blake, Dominic and Angel; her great grandchildren, Serenity, Malia, Kaitlyn, Zoey, Maria, Honesty, Elleiana, Lyric, Harper and Brynnley; and her close friend Larry Phillips.
