We bid farewell to Rosemary Gronotte of Evansville, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 18, 2025 at the age of 90. Rosemary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hartmann and Loretta Hartmann of Evansville; her husband Albert C. Gronotte Jr.; her son Joseph G. Gronotte (New Albany); and her sisters, Mary Catherine Durchholz of Evansville, IN and Leona Zimmer of Grand Rapids, MI.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Fleming (William "Bill") of Lovettsville, VA and Jane Ann Wright (Gregory) of New Albany, IN; her daughter-in-law Michele "Micki" Gronotte of New Albany; and her sons, Daniel Gronotte (Mary) of Lanesville, IN and John Gronotte of New Albany. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the OLPH.
