It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald David Hughes of Evansville, Indiana, born in Cadiz, Kentucky, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar "Gene" Hughes and Geneva Hughes (Morris). He is survived by: his wife Sarah Nelson Hughes; his siblings, Debra Whiteside (Ken) of Hopkinsville and Dr. Randal Hughes (Tonya) of Fort Wayne, IN; his children, Jon Hughes (Lara) of Noblesville, IN and Shelley Brown (Rick) of Evansville, IN; his aunt Floy Ann Bess-Stowers (Keith); his brother-in-law Jim Nelson; and his grandchildren, Jack Hughes, Bella Hughes, Heidi Brown, Bailey Hughes, Carly Hughes and Hannah Brown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 610 E. Walnut St., Suite A, Evansville, IN 47713.
