It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Zimmer of Evansville, Indiana, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zimmer and Frederica Zimmer (Richard); and his wife Iva LaJune "June" Zimmer. He is survived by: his stepmother Edith Zimmer; his sons, Patrick Zimmer and Mark Zimmer (Michelle); his stepchildren, Jim Gantner (Bettye), Joel Gantner and Jan Halbig (Richard); his brother John Zimman (Mary); his grandchildren, Ashton Zimmer, Lita Zimmer, Lars Zimmer (Alexis), Kris Smith (Jeremy), Kari Ferguson (Chad) and Hillary Greene (Eric); his great grandchildren, Kaleigh Ferguson, Kira Shulz, Avelynn Zimmer, Atlas Zimmer, Brooklyn Zimmer, Jackson Zimmer and Chancellor Zimmer; and his girlfriend June Maples. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
