He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman V. Russler and Marie G. Russler (Hansert); his sisters, Marylou Russler Ulrich and Frances Russler Lively; his nephews, David Ulrich and Adam Neale; and his siblings-in-law, Merrie Jane Russler, Mary Ingram Neale, James Ulrich, Clovis "Toby" Lively, Daniel D. Neale and Richard Plump.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lue Neale Russler; his siblings, Charles Russler (Dolores), William Russler, James Russler (Mary Lynn), Carol Russler of Evansville and Mae Russler of Evansville; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Plump, Rosie Neale, Nancy Neale, Ron Neale of Evansville, Jim Neale of Evansville, Larry Neale of Evansville and Bob Neale (Kay) of Fenton, Missouri.
