He was predeceased by: his father Gene Bays; and his brothers, Ronny Bays and Rod Bays. He is survived by: his mother Mary Bays (Hohl) of Evansville; his children, Jessica Jones (Galand) and Robert Bays (RJ); and his siblings, Linda Julian (Dennis), Carol Wargel (David), Shirley Brown (Mike), Rick, Randy (Clair), Raymond (Karen) and Roger (Jerry). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Burdette Park (5301 Nurrenbern Rd, Evansville, IN 47712).
