He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie M. Young (Alvey) and James Hobert Clark; his stepfather Thomas Young; and his aunt Francis "Bitsy" Alvey. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Clark (Peay); his children, Teri Jarvis and Darren Clark; his stepdaughter Christy Mercer; his grandchildren, Adam Patrick and Ava Cardin; and his siblings, Anna "Sissy" Walls and Gary Clark (Susann). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Geneva Clark to help with funeral expenses.
