He was predeceased by: his wife Emma; his parents, Bessie East and John East; his siblings, James, Charles, Manford, Bill, Malcolm, Paul, Woody, Mae, Bonnie, Grace, Evelyn and Lois; his son-in-law Jim Hart; and his great grandchild Analiese Lindner.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Bob; his brothers, John and Kippy East; his children, Cathy Early (Steve), Jennifer Mast (Greg), Susan Hart, Kevin East (Emilie) and Michelle Collins (Dan); his grandchildren, Millicent Frank (Aaron), Emily Shera (Greg), William Mast (Marissa), Kelli Kehler (Jason), Margaret Lindner (Chris), Erin Hart (Dustin), Robert J. East, Alexander East and Cameron Hart; his friend Steve Page; and his caregiver Tricia Arvin. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
