He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Veronica Woods (McCarthy) and Robert Bernard Woods, Sr.; his wife Karan Jo Woods (Lamb); his children, Kelly Boling, Nikki Woods, Samantha Rejndrup (Andre), Amanda Woods, Bobby Woods, III, Tony Abay (Matilda) and Austin Kemp (Cari); his sister Denise Woods; and his grandchildren, Carter Coulter, Keagan Krahenbuhl, Calan Malone, Theo Abay, Aria Abay, Otto Rejndrup, Henrik Rejndrup, Brody and Alex Jones.

“Karan, our deepest condolences to you and your family, from our family in Chicago. Cousin Bobby left an impression on all of us, even my grammar school buddies, who also send their sympathy, still fondly speak of him. Especially when it comes to those intense Wiffleball games out front! It is so sad to hear the news, but so wonderful to see that he was surrounded by so many kids and grandkids. Cousin Bobby was just a big kid himself!”
