It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard R. Barnett of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Barnett and Norma Barnett (Grefe); his wife Carol Barnett (Pearson); and his siblings, Dorothy, Carolyn, Jim, Bob and Bill.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Spence (Bob), Eric Barnett (Rita) and Kevin Barnett (Sherri).
