He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Kissel (Farney) and John Nicholas Kissel; his granddaughter Anna Rose Kissel; and his siblings, Mary Lee Reis, Delores Raley, Evelyn Smith, Shirley Williams, Angie Lilly, Florence Saltzman, Daniel Kissel and Jerome Kissel.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Kissel; his children, Richard Kissel II, Kevin John Kissel (Elizabeth), Christopher Kissel (Stacey) and Theresa Ann Baity (Gerald); and his grandchildren, Kevin, Sarah, Anne, Jasmine, Jarica, Gerald, Gared, Cory, Hannah and Devin. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (418 N S Wabash Ave, Evansville, IN 47712). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
