He is survived by: his close friend Kathy Griese; his son Dan Griese (Heidi); his grandchildren, Grant, Brooke and Chase; his son Jim Griese (Amanda); his grandchildren, Allie, Charlie and Amy; his son Ben Griese (Robin); his sister Ruth Fendel (Leon); and his nieces and nephews, Kelsey Peter and Abby Adams. He is also survived by his wife, being a father, attending his grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Pierre Funeral Home (2601 W Franklin St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (5528 Hogue Rd, Evansville, IN 47712).
The family requests donations be made to Boy Scout Troop 399, West Side Nut Club, or the Mater Dei Band.
