He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wargel and Shirley Wargel (Enright); his brother Robert (Judy Wargel); and his sister-in-law Joyce Wargel. He is survived by: his daughters, Sheri (Kevin Zehner) and Lisa (John Forzley); his grandchildren, Nicole Beck (Justin), Emily Winters (Conner Hammond), Ashton Forzley (Sarah Ayer) and Nolan Forzley (Claire Schmitt); his great grandchildren, Jordan and Tyson Beck; and his siblings, John Wargel, Marie Arnold (Dale) and Barbara Wargel.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Church (5301 New Harmony Rd, Evansville, IN 47720).
Memorial contributions may be made to Heart-to-Heart Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
