He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine "Kitty" R. Austin (Stonecipher); his stepmother Patricia Austin (Wright); and his sister-in-law Kimberly Austin (Williams). He is survived by: his father Richard A. Austin, Sr.; his wife Donna Austin (West); his sons, William Austin (Sarah F. Robinson), Timothy Austin and Joseph Austin; his brothers, Michael Austin and Chris Austin (Kari Barnes); and his sisters-in-law, Susan Birkenfeld, Kimberly West and Rhonda West. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
