It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond F. Beckwith Jr. of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrietta Beckwith, (Smith) and Raymond F. Beckwith, Sr.; his former wife Dorothy Beckwith; and his brother Robert Beckwith. He is survived by: his wife Joan Beckwith (Halter); his children, Freddie Beckwith (Jami), Joe Beckwith (Mary), Julie Merkel (Matt) and Mary Dishman (Brad); and his grandchildren, Caroline Merkel, Isabelle Merkel, Abigail Beckwith, Sara Beckwith, Morgan Dishman and Reece Dishman.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel (800 S Hebron Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Benedict Cathedral (1328 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (2500 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN 47720).
