He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Higgins (Tom); his wife Oneda "Mae" Thompson (Weese); his stepchildren, Timothy Weese (Julie) and Mona Ramberger (Keith); his stepgrandsons, Dale Weese and Michael Crow; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Makayla Crow and Bryanna Crow.

“So sorry to hear about Butch. I knew Butch Frances and Melissa through Tom Brooks. I know Melissa will remember Tom Brooks we would all meet at Toms house on Saturday night to play music Tom had a Hammond organ we’d play cards tell jokes just a real good time. Some of the stories Tom Butch and Frances would tell would just leave you rolling on the floor. I sure miss the good times and friendship we all had. Our condolences Paul and Gayle Shoulders”
