Though Nancy Lee may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nancy Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Mary Lou Watson; her husband Wayne Errol Montgomery; and her sister Bettye June Sheppard. She is survived by: her children, David Wayne Montgomery, Mary Delores Pike and Michael Wayne Montgomery; and her brother Dr. Robert Stephen Watson. She is also survived by her three children, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pierre Funeral Home (2601 W Franklin St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
