She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Matthews and Bessie Matthews (Wiedemann); her brother Sammy Richard; her granddaughter Natalie Jane Cruse; and her husband Jeffery Watson Harmon, Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, David Alan Cruse (Megan Mills) of Adrian, MI and Stephen Michael Cruse of Evansville, IN; her sisters, Bonita Stanley of Evansville, IN and Mary Mourer (Stephen) of Florida; her grandsons, Henry and Freddy Cruse; and her pet Leo.
