She was predeceased by: her father Herman F. Elrod, Sr.; her husband Carl Bruner; her daughter Amanda Jo Washington; and her brothers, Karl Raymond Elrod and Robert Lee Elrod.
She is survived by: her mother Betty Elrod (Harris); her daughters, Shannon Bruner (Denny) and Crystal Bruner; her brothers, Herman Elrod, Jr. (Rhonda), Charles Elrod (Brenda), Ronnie Elrod (Karen), Larry Elrod (Lori) and Gary Elrod (Jen); her stepdaughters, Angie Garrett (Joe) and Carla Bruner-Nash (Will); and her close friend Ruth Wingfield. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel (626 N First Ave, Evansville, IN 47710). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1400 E Virginia St, Evansville, IN 47711).
