It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn (Bussing) Oldenburg Stone (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Bussing (Kittinger) and Wilfred C. Bussing Sr.; her former husband Robert Oldenburg; her husband Norbert Stone; her son John William Oldenburg; and her brother Wilfred C. Bussing Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Raisor (Ray) of Evansville, IN and Anne Brady (Robert) of Durham, NC; her daughter-in-law Kerry Oldenburg Hodges of Mercer Island, WA; her niece Marie A. Bussing; her nephew Wilfred C. "Bill" Bussing (Phyllis) of Evansville, IN; her stepchildren, Karen Erskine (Dwight) of Effingham, IL, Sarah Dickson (Jerry) of Chicago, IL, Mary Pat Gunn (Chuck) of Reno, NV, Mike Stone (Elizabeth) of Bradenton, FL, Jim Stone (Lidia) of Yellow Springs, OH, Bill Stone (Mary) of Naples, FL, Tom Stone (Diane) of Evansville, IN, Dick Stone (Mare) of Evergreen, CO and John Stone (Susan) of Venice, FL; and her grandchildren, J. B. Raisor, Patrick Raisor, Sarah Holton, Michael Brady, Katherine Heller, Elizabeth Gray, Melissa Willenborg, Melinda Cervantes, Mark Worman, Dwight Erskine III, James Erskine, Andrew Erskine, Todd Stone, Dean Stone, Eric Stone, Tricia Riskin, Rob Stone, Justine Shagi, Elizabeth Flaherty, Patrick Stone, Lainie Givens, Sarah Stone, Joe Stone, Davis Stone, Luke Stone, Taylor Stone and Charles Gunn. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
