He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hartz and Lilly Hartz (Naegele); and his brother Robert J. Hartz. He is survived by: his wife Norma Hartz (Bromm); his son Robert A.; his daughter-in-law Kathy Hartz; and his grandson Jacob Hartz.
