She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chandler and Rosella Chandler; and her husband Edward Thompkins. She is survived by: her brother Harvey Chandler (Marybelle); her niece Myra Whitt (Edward); her stepdaughters, Kim and Carla; and her cousins, Johnetta Mitchell and Anita Graves.
