She was predeceased by: her parents, Noble Wayne and Veda E. Hale (Downen); and her sister Connie Hale. She is survived by: her husband Francis L. Skelton; her siblings, Everett Hale (Deborah) of Alexandria, IN, Nancy Petrig (Michael) of Evansville, IN and Francis; and also, Mary Reese (Michael) of Evansville, IN, Julie Barton (Dale) of Evansville, IN, John Pfettcher of Evansville, IN, Berta Kares of Evansville, IN, Terri Devine of Evansville, IN, Art Skelton of Evansville, IN and Patricia Toliver of California. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Union Ridge Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice and will be accepted at the church or may be mailed to Campbell Funeral Home at 609 W. Main St. Carmi, IL. 62821.
