She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Sears and Cleo Sears-Stamps; and her siblings, Paul Sears, Alvin Sears, David Sears, Beverly Sears-Couto, Shirley Selby, Teresa Sears, Carol Sears and Shirley Sears-Finott.

She is survived by: her son Jessie Roberts; and her siblings, Richard Sears, Billy Sears (Brenda), Bobby Sears and Peggy Sears-Joyce. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family.
