She was predeceased by: her parents, George Davis and Jean Davis (Gray); and her former husband Bruce Mortensen. She is survived by: her husband David Johnston; her daughters, Kendra Mortensen and Jennifer Kormelink; her stepchildren, Lee Mortensen and Barbara Bosecker; her grandchildren, Aleks Mortensen and Afton Mortensen; her stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Alyce and Logan Bosecker; and her siblings, Peggy Svetin, Konny Froelke (Steven) and Jim Davis.
