She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Halas and Louise Halas (Schmidt); her siblings, James Halas and Marie Svedja; and her grandson Austin Lax.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Stanek (Chris), Kathryn Stanek, Mark Stanek (Hong), Jennifer Stanek, Michael Halas, Angela Fravel (James) and Amy Wedge (Andrew); and her sister Lynn Jackson (Jim). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Alexander East Chapel (2115 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the ASPCA.
