With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Franklin Stockton (Evansville, Indiana), born in Whitesville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stockton and Louise Stockton (Upchurch); and his siblings, Rebecca Kinsey, Mary Waller, Eddie Stockton and David Stockton.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Stockton (Cook) of St. Philip, IN; his children, Kelli Goedde (Craig) of St. Philip, IN and Charles Stockton (Susan) of Evansville, IN; his brothers, John "Bud" Stockton (Arlene) of Boonville, IN and Mark Stockton (Lorie) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Taylor Motz (Colton), Brooklyn Goedde, Zachary Goedde, Rachel Stockton and William Stockton; and his great grandchild Colton Motz, Jr..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Browning Funeral Home (738 E Diamond Ave, Evansville, IN 47711). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
