He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Evans (Recker) and James Evans; his daughter Joni Gentry; his siblings, Ethel Gaines (Russell) and Robert Evans (Betty); and his nephew James Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Evans; his children, Steven Evans (Theresa), Laurie Gehlhausen (Brad) and Amy Decker (Larry); and his grandchildren, Jake Gentry (Kathy), Erin Brown (Matt), Leah Evans (Wheeler), Macy Decker and Joe Decker. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and 4 step-grandchildren.
