He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Ann Schutte; his parents, Joseph Henry and Helena Schutte (Happe); his stepmother Theresa Schutte; and his siblings, Helen, Clarence, Albert, Paul and Francis Schutte.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Schutte, James Schutte, Julie Zuber (Kenny) and John Schutte Jeff (Dawn); his sister Marie Folz; his grandchildren, Lee, Charlene, Chrissy, Brandon, Brittany, Morganne, Conner, Celeste, Cory and Alyssa; and his great grandchildren, Tori, Chase, Wyatt, Hallie, Kaylee, Sawyer, Noah, Elias and Baby Zuber.
