In loving memory of John Charles LaVanchy of Evansville, Indiana, who departed this world on July 29, 2024 at the age of 72. John Charles leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leslie and Louise LaVanchy (Rosso). He is survived by: his wife Dottie LaVanchy (Jones); his stepdaughter Sondra Rider (Greg); his stepgrandson Adam Rider; his sisters, Jeanne Douthitt, Joyce Smith and Janet Dippel (Stephen); his nieces, Annette Goldstein (Greg), Kayla Dippel, Jackie Nalin (Andrew), Ellen Dippel and Lonna Dippel; and his nephew Samuel Dippel. He is also survived by three great nieces and two great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Retired Veterans Memorial Club, c/o VFW Post 1114, 110 N. Wabash Ave. of the Flags, Evansville, IN 47712.
