She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Foster and Arnold Bertram; her husband Ernest Johnston; her grandchildren, Broc Sims and Zoe Yancey; and her son-in-law Walter McFarland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kim McFarland, Donna Johnston, Sharon Sims (Greg) and Sheila Yancey (Merrill); and her grandchildren, Jamie McFarland, Dan McFarland (Jenni), Krista Groves (Matt), Kara Tharpe (Ty), Mark Yancey and Camille Yancey. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
