With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Richard Small (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on July 22, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Small and Wilma J. Small; his former wife Dorothy Small (Dot); his brothers, David Small and Norman Small; and his son Mark Small.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Small; his sons, Brian Small (Rosa) and Gregory Small (Karen Heard); his daughter-in-law Pam Small; his grandchildren, Nathan Small (Lynn), Leslie Small (Alex Kneupper) and Sean Small; his great grandchildren, Claudia Small, Vienna Small, Iris Kneupper and Celeste Kneupper; his stepchildren, Lisa Kelsey Moore (Randy), Kristina Sanders (George) and Donnie Dowell (Lori); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Vicki Spangler and Jim. He is also survived by 8 step grandchildren.
