He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sherman and Anna Weatherholt (May); his siblings, Lillian Rutledge and William Weatherholt (Joyce); and his siblings-in-law, Delbert Rutledge and Jessie Weatherholt.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Weatherholt (Ceselka) of Evansville, IN; his sons, Rodger Moore of Evansville, IN and Andrew Weatherholt (Paveena) of Evansville, IN; his brother Franklin Weatherholt of Evansville, IN; his grandchildren, Master Sergeant Scott Moore (Allison), Stephanie Moore, Danielle Dawson (Zack) and Cory Weatherholt; and his great grandchildren, Riley Moore, Caiden Moore, Jack Moore, Tucker Moore and Avery Moore.
