With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gertrude Eloise (Tompkins) Muensterman of Evansville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Tompkins and Eloise Tompkins (Ziegler); her husband Wilburn Muensterman; her daughter Mary Ann Nall; and her siblings, Lenora Miles, Philip, Jimmy and Larry Tompkins.
She is survived by: her children, Karin Macke (Gary) of Evansville, IN, Susan Vervilles (Lucky) of Louisville, KY, Jane Belcher Moore (Matt) of Owensboro, KY, Terry Muensterman (Mary Ellen) of Evansville, IN and Joe Muensterman (Karen) of Evansville, IN; her sisters, Eloise Hamner (Ray), Christine Settle, Nadine Parker and Kathleen Straube; and her grandchildren, Dustin Macke (Mia), Cory Macke (Kayci), Shad Macke (Kaelyn), Brandon Muensterman (Melissa Jones), Kelly Muensterman (Jessica), Mary Caitlin Muensterman, Maura Muensterman, Summer Eliason (Peter), Misty Nall (Nam Nguyen), John Muensterman (Elena), Becca Muensterman, Anna Muensterman, Nathan Belcher (Keista), Christian Belcher, Jennifer Sterling (Blake) and Blake Belcher (Kasey). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (2701 W Franklin St, Evansville, IN 47712). A Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
