With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary L. Johnson (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on August 1, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Johnson and Alma Mae Jackson; his daughter Elizabeth Johnson; his sister Marilyn; and his grandson Ethan Johnson.

He is survived by: his children, Eric Johnson and Natasha Johnson; his grandchildren, Malik Small, Justus Jones, Evan Johnson, Emily Johnson-Smith and Elissa Johnson-Redman; his brother Homer Johnson (Robin); and his close friend Maria. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, her loving family; and numerous extended family.
