He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne Higginbotham (Clodfelter); his mother Emma Weber (Owen); his stepfather Harold Weber; his stepson Ben Duckworth (Cheryl); and his brother Stanley Higginbotham (Shirley).
He is survived by: his daughter Angela South (Jeff) of Boonville, IN; his stepchildren, Tracy Silver (John) of Evansville, IN, Carla Angel (Bruce) of Newburgh, IN and Marc Duckworth (Veda) of Evansville, IN; and his grandchildren, Jessica South and Andrew South. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
