With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorris Smith Stone of Evansville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 13, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Willie May Stone (Marshall); and his siblings, Dorothy Stone, Janie McDaniel and Damon Stone. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Stone; his children, Mike Stone (Julie), Dora Morgan (Mike), Jennifer Woodburn (Tim) and Cathy Rocha (Alex); his grandchildren, Derick Morgan (Jackie), Cassandra Morgan, Laura Konsler, Melanie Rundle (Jordan), Gina Stone and Lydia Stone; and his great grandchild Salem Grace Morgan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Koehler Funeral Home (304 E Main St, Boonville, IN 47601). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
