She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvah Issac Wood and Jessie Thelma Russell; her husband John King (Jack); and her siblings, Russell Wood of Evansville, Mildred Watson and Camille Simpson of Kentucky.

She is survived by: her children, Denice E Stevens (Mike Stevens) and John A. King (Aggie King); her granddaughters, Heather N. Houser (Mike Houser), Tara J. Glaser (Joe Glaser) and Natalie J. King; and her great grandchildren, Sophia R. Glaser and Emma A. Glaser. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
