The memory of Dorothy May Sander of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on November 3, 2024 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sr. Ommart and Ethel Ommart (Ours); her husband Donald Wayne Sander; her granddaughter Ava Elizabeth Curtis; and her brothers-in-law, Mel (Ava Lou Sander) and Allen (Julie Sander).
She is survived by: her children, Danica Curtis (John) and Derek Sander (Rachel); her grandchildren, Jordan Crawford (Josh), Daniel Sander and Danielle Sander; her great grandchildren, Brantley Barclay and Stella Davis; her nephews, Mike Sander (Jane) and Dale Sander (Ronda); and her cousin Nancy Davis (Steve). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Alexander West Chapel (2100 W Illinois St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Zoar Church (4600 Church Rd, Evansville, IN 47720).
