He is survived by: his sister-in-law Delores Shoptaugh; his siblings, Charolette Connor, Linda Branham and David Shoptaugh (Tina); and his children, Donald Shoptaugh II (late Cheryl), Steven Shoptaugh, Michael Shoptaugh (Regina Seibert), Victoria Mitchell and Wendy Rice (Greg Rice). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Metro Christian Center (818 N Boeke Rd, Evansville, IN 47711).
